I liked the location. It is in the north area of Amsterdam and you have the chance of exploring a part not too visited by the tourists. The subway station is pretty close.

This was a great location to visit Amsterdam. It's north of the city center, but a quick bus/metro ride in, and with the two day pass, a pretty good value. The area is very quiet, no traffic noise at night. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and room was very clean, even had a coffee maker. Very comfy bed, and the breakfast was lovely, a great selection of items, even eggs to order. We drove in and left the car parked the entire time, used public transportation to get around. Plenty of parking in the area for a small fee (9.60 Euro for the entire day). Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Amsterdam.

It was close to the metro station in a 10 min. Walking distance and then only 2 stations away from Amsterdam Centraal. It felt safe and also there were some cafes around the area if you did not have time for breakfast in the morning. Overall our stay was okay and the stuff of the hotel was excellent.

The room was absolutely fantastic and the staff were incredibly friendly when asking for help. I requested a small birthday message for my girlfriend when I booked and when I turned up, the hotel was kind enough to include some balloons and bunting as well as a lovely message waiting, it made my girlfriends weekend! The room was clean, tidy and bed was super comfy. The hotel is literally 10 seconds walk to the nearest bus stop which takes you directly to the ferry crossing to the Amsterdam Centraal station. Only 10 minutes from the centre! Can’t thank Bastion Hotel enough and will definitely be back again soon!

The location is so perfect and safe, city center is close just within 10 mins you will be there, the district is quite and full of service such as market, small restaurants, gas station, and barber shop , i like it and recommend it 😍😍

The staff is very friendly and helpful. In general the hotel is correct, it meets the minimum requirements for a comfortable stay.

There is parking outside hotel - I could park my Van (Ford Transit) on nearside parking for less than 10 euro per 24h, also car was safe because there is Police station just opposite where my van was parked. Also Hotel is located less than 10 min walk from metro station (Amsterdam Noord), then it's only 5 min of travel (2 stops) to reach Amsterdam Cetraal.

Huge tv in the room with ability to chrome cast from our phones to the tv screen, very comfortable beds and the a/c was great. Staff were so helpful with booking a taxi for us when it was heavily raining and we couldn’t walk
